Always something new to learn at montly meeting presentations.

Monthly meetings are a core Guild activity. We meet on the first Thursday of the month, September through June. All general meetings are held at Christ Episcopal Church, 510 Belknap Place, Parish Hall, unless otherwise announced. Doors open by 6:00 p.m.

We begin with an “Early Bird” gathering at 6:30 p.m. This is usually an informal hands-on activity or an exhibit that is related to the evening’s topic. Members may also use this time to browse, check out or return books to our Guild library cabinet. On some occasions, we make instructor’s artwork and other items available for purchase.

We attend to Guild business with a short meeting that begins at 7:00. After that, we break for refreshments or socializing and reconvene for our program at about 7:30.

Programs cover a wide range of topics of interest to people who do calligraphy and its related art forms. Speakers come from outside the Guild or from Guild members with expertise in particular subjects.  All speakers are compensated for their time.
