This month’s Mini Workshop, Maggie Gillikin taught members how to make their own very special butterfly and a 3-D crane card as well!

Working on the 3D Crane Card
This is one of the butterflies that has been folded and is ready to decorate
These butterflies are ready to be decorated with gel pens, pigma micron pens and stickles glitter glue
The watercolors add such vibrancy to the butterfly and the crane card!
Some of our newest membres have a blast!
So glad our newest members had so much fun!
No two alike!
Maggie sent this piece of calligraphy to her secret pal, Brian. He folded it into one of his peace cranes. Lovely!
Maggie Instructs how to make the 3D Crane Card
Laura made her crane show up by color each side a different color. The crane and the card part are all ONE piece, no glue needed!
Here are a couple of the watercolored squares drying, before they could be folded into origami butterflies
Gorgeous
First, the class used watercolors to paint their squares, which would become 3D Butterflies
Doing accurate origami folding, takes lots of concentration!
